I'm looking for every day, casual leather sandals for the spring/summer. Requirements: attractive, supportive, comfy - and flat/very low heel if any. I walk a lot, often with baby in carrier, and I'm sort of a "one shoe for all purposes" person so I will likely live in these. I'm fine with paying more for a high-quality walking sandal that meets these requirements. Brands I've had luck with in the past: Born, Joseph Seibel, and Teva leather sandals have actually worked best but they don't seem to make the attractive kinds they used to.

So, what sandals are you liking this year? Any suggestions that would meet my requirements? Post your finds - thanks!

I love Merrells, as they often fit me better than any others. I'm going to try this one Merrell Dahlia (http://www.zappos.com/merrell-dahlia-coffee-bean)
These in Navy are nice too! Merrell Agave (http://www.zappos.com/merrell-agave-navy)

I second the Teva Ventura that Citymama posted. I think they would look great with a variety of outfits and give you good support. LLBean also has a similar shoe:

Last year they came in more colors, so I am not sure if those would work for you. Actually, LLBean has some cute styles this year!

Not sure if you consider Birkenstock attractive. I have these ones in the smooth black leather. It's a bit glossy but not patent. I got them last summer for about $35. I like that they have a little more visual interest than most Birks and look good with shorts, capris, and skirts.

Citymama- oops, sorry. I didn't realize that you were the one that originally posted. But I still like the Teva's :)

I got these Clarks as I am pregnant and they feel like you are walking on air. They are sold out on shoebuy, but I saw them at other online places as well:

I have these Clarks sandals. They are very comfortable and stylish, if you like a gladiator style.

ETA just found them at endless for 35$--great deal but only in smaller sizes.

I want these.

The dansko sandals I've had in the past have been comfy and they're pretty cute.
ETA: they're not exactly flat, but they're wedges.

I bought the Born Nordi sandals last summer after tripping carrying DS while wearing flip flops (shudder).

I have them in the black patent leather and the brown. Love, love them! So comfortable and a little stylish at the same time...

I have the teva Ventura cork sandals in red. They were comfortable enough for Disney World. And I think they are cute and versatile.

I just bought some Birkenstocks (Sydney style), and have similar requirements. But, they may not fit the "attractive" portion of your requirements. The Gizeh style is more of a thong style and more feminine.

I like the Naturalizer Tribal style, but have been unable to find them in wide. http://www.amazon.com/Naturalizer-Naturalzier-Tribal-Slides/dp/B0031SI898

I've had both these pairs and loved them for comfort and style...

Mephisto Helen - http://www.mephistoshoes.com/store/Helen-for-Women.html

Birkenstock Gizeh -http://www.zappos.com/birkenstock-gizeh-metallic-silver-birko-flor-trade

Mephistos are expensive and some of the shoes they make are granny central (!), but they have a handful of stylish and super comfortable styles.

And I live for my Birks - I honestly couldn't imagine surviving the summer without them. :D
