I need some protein ideas for the kids lunch box. We can't do nuts. I do:
sun butter
cheese
turkey/ham slices (I get grossed out by these)

Help!
thanks

DS loves chicken/turkey meatballs (cold). I cook them then freeze them, stick them in his lunch box frozen and they thaw by lunch time. This was a recipe from a kids cookbook.

I also started making homemade hotpockets with ham, cheese, olive filling; sausage, mushrooms, pizza sauce, cheese; etc. I cook them, then freeze them and stick them in his lunch box frozen. He loves those too. I'm going to try making a chicken pot pie type and other combinations as well. We also wrap the lunch meats around bread sticks.

Tofu, edamame, yogurt, cheese, quinoa that can be mixed with things like raisins and craisins or savory like veggies, beans (black, pinto), fake meats like Boca Chicken Patties or Smart Tenders by Lightlife

You could also make thinks like a quesadilla with chicken, black beans and cheese in advance. That way it is cut up and easy to eat!

Can their food be heated?

Do they like hummos? My kids eat pita&hummos at least once a week.

Eggs

Chicken salad, etc.
