I have a wedding coming up in a few weeks and want to wear a dress, but since DS will be 9 months old, we're still nursing. But I'm hesitant to invest in an actual nursing dress. I'm thinking something like this: https://www.target.com/Mossimo-Multi-wear-Twist-Wrap-Dress/dp/B004AP743M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&searchView=grid5&keywords=wrap&fromGsearch=true&sr=1-1&qid=1302810623&rh=&searchRank=target104545&id=Mossimo%20Multi-wear%20Twist%20Wrap%20Dress&node=1041790&searchSize=30&searchPage=1&searchNodeID=1041790&searchBinNameList=subjectbin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_ primary_color-bin%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&frombrowse=0

or this: http://www.anntaylorloft.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=33047&N=1200007&categoryId=211&pCategoryId=3359&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_211&Nty=1&No=0&loc=TN&defaultColor=Pink%20Cloud&defaultSizeType=Regular

Anyone have something they love?

When I was nursing last summer and had to go to a wedding, I bought dresses that had that wrap dress look (i.e. the overlapping fabric) in a jersey or stretchy material. I used them like I would a nursing dress with no problem. I bought mine at Macy's on sale for cheap.

Stretchy wrap dresses are great for nursing. I have this Hawi hoodie dress http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?searchCID=44995&vid=1&pid=819722&scid=819722022 from Athleta that I can nurse easily in - with one caveat. Milk stains the darn fabric! So I have to dry clean or handwash after each use. But I don't think you want a hoodie dress for a wedding (although the quality is fantastic and it doesn't actually look as casual as the photos imply).

SnuggleBuggles had posted a lovely Banana Republic wrap dress in another thread which I am drooling after and waiting for it to go on sale! See if you can find it in the MomWear section. Posted in the last 48 hours.
Found it: http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=41558&vid=1&pid=833035

I would definitely skip the Target dress; the AT one could work.

Ditto on the wrap dress.

I don't think your target pick would work but the AT would.

On katydid's thread I posted a few wrap dresses.

Gotta agree with wrap front dresses and tops, particulary the surplice wrap style. If you can find something in a jersey knit, it will be a little strecthy, too.

New York and Co has a number of stretchy dresses. I got one two years ago right after DD was born and it was great for nursing b/c I could pull down the top (I had a cami on underneath). Not something I could do in public without a blanket, but it also meant I didn't have to physically remove the dress or unzip to be able to feed the baby :).

Or a button down style Shirt Dress. I loved NIP in a button down shirt.

This is what I would suggest.........something with buttons down the front, so you can wear a nursing cami underneath and just button down to nurse.
