Playmobil deals at Toys R Us

TRU is having 20% off all Playmobil this week. They had a lot of stuff on clearance and I got an additional 20% off so the items were almost 50% off retail. It was random pieces from different sets. So excited to get some birthday shopping done. :cheerleader1:

The circular had the 20% off Playmobil and I went to two stores here and both had a lot on clearance with an additional 20% off. We bought every Eygpt set, pyramid, sphinx etc for $150.

My store definitely had 20% off regular priced sets. I saw some clearance ones but didn't scan them b/c we weren't interested in those particular ones.

I think the 20% off (at least off regular priced PM) is a national sale, it's on the website.

Went to our Toy r us today. Saw lots of Playmobil on clearance, didn't even think to check to see if additional 20% would come off clearnace prices. I had DD with me, so couldn't pick up anything for birthday or Christmas, but told DH I would probably go back for the castle/princess set. Anyone have this? DD will turn 4 in December, and would love to shop ahead. She has really enjoyed little people, so do you think she would like Playmobil?

Thanks! My son has been playing the Playmobil Egypt game and loving it, so I ordered him everything that was available from that line to set aside for Christmas. I think he's going to love the pyramid! :)

Thanks! I was able to get a price adjustment on several items I bought over 2months ago during the 25% sale but now with many of the items going on clearance plus 20% off I got back $28.xx! My store looked like half the playmobil merchandise are gone compared to just 2 months ago.

FYI, the online clearance price doesn't look like it gives an additional 20% off. At the store it was clearance price (same as online) plus add'l 20% off that.

There were a whole bunch of clearanced ones at my TRU, but didn't see anything I wanted. Already got a ton from the previous K-mart additional 50% off clearance from last year!!

In our local toys r us, it said clearance, but nothing came up for more than 20% off.

My TRU had the Egypt pieces and also the castle - none was marked clearance but scanned at the same (clearance) price as online PLUS the 20% off. Anyway, before I buy and hoard - do you think a 7-8 year old would play with these? DS is 3 so not into Playmobil yet, but I am wondering whether these would be good for an older girl we know. TIA!

Yup, I was very excited to find both the sting ray and crab set on clearance and then the extra 20% off. It is going into their easter baskets. DS1 is a sting ray freak, anything with sting rays on it, I buy it, lol. Too bad there isn't a jelly fish, b/c I would have gotten him that too!

i'm jealous of everyone finding all the egypt stuff... ours had nearly nothing (i haven't seen the pyramid since they moved the playmobil section to put in babies r us on one side of the store )

maybe i shouldn't be jealous... lu is getting a church on sunday ;)
