Of course the ones i "hid" won't show up, but there are freinds that have posted stuff that doesn't show up on my feed.

Anyone know why?
Thanks.

Facebook is like high school and popularity. The most popular people are the most visible. Unless you change the setting, Facebook's program picks and chooses your most popular friends to put in feeds most often- ie the people who have a lot of friends, or the posts that have a lot of activity and feedback. I believe it also factors in your contact on FB with them- ie, someone you recently interacted with is more likely to show. Change it to all, and you will see them all (but it will still block the people you wanted out of your feed).

It's cr@p like ever changing FB settings that make me spend way less time on Facebook than I did until even last year.

I've been wondering the same thing. One person in particular never shows on my news feed but if I go to his page I can see all his posts. Then one day his posts started showing in the news feed again. My settings are set to show everyone's most recent posts, not most popular. I'm not sure if he was doing it intentionally or what. But I'm glad he's back :)

Speaking of facebook, their latest change has gotten ride of a secure connection (https). Make sure you go into your security settings and click that you want a SECURE address. I hate how they keep changing things up like this.

That's weird, I haven't changed anything, and I definitely still have a secure connection. I just looked, https: Maybe they changed it back already?

No, b/c my friends were posting about this on their status updates yesterday and I didn't get around to, "fixing" it until right before I posted above. It's just weird, I find it tiresome keeping up with all of these stupid privacy/security changes that FB is trying to squeak by us all the time.

Many apps (including most games) won't run over the secure connection. At least some of the time, it now warns you when it turns it off to get to the app, but I think that sometimes it just switches to not-secure without telling you.
