There is one kit for all Hondas:

Part number 82410-SE3-C01 called "Plate Assembly" retail price about $13

There should be a section in the owner's manual on how to install - the part is called "anchor plate and mounting hardware" in the manual.

For the 1999 Civic, in particular, it depends on if it is a three door or a 2/4 door. For the 3D, there are three 8mm weld nuts in back wall of cargo area. The 2/4D will have three 8 mm weld nuts in the rear filler panel (package shelf). For the sedans, you may have to remove a plastic trim button to see the anchor points or in some cases, you have to cut through the fabric to access them. If you don't see them on the package shelf and there are no buttons/covers there, get in the trunk with a flashlight and look up under the package shelf to find them.

Good luck!

My dealership ordered it and installed it for me on my 99 Civic.

What seats worked in your 1999 Civic? Did you ever try a Radian? We just got a 4 door with forward of the bight seatbelts. We're downsizing from a minivan and doing the carseat Chinese fire drill yet again!

We used Britax Roundabout (old school one), Marathon (another older model, I think it is up to 65lbs) and a Graco Nautilus. Both Britaxes spent a good amount of time rearfacing both in the center (no tether) and outboard. Never tried a Radian.

I had Radians in a 97 4D Civic; never could get the center install, but no problems on either side.
