Twins in preemie sleepers/gowns how long?

Did your twins come home in preemie outfits and how long did they wear them? Thank you:hug5:

yes, mine wore preemie clothes for a couple months, maybe 3. they were 6 weeks early.

11 weeks early...we brought them home in August, and I think they were out of preemie clothes by November/December. But they were 5 or 6 months old at that point.

DD wasn't a twin but she was 5lb 9oz at birth...she wore preemie and newborn sizes for 2-3 months and then 0-3 months sizes up until she was 6-8 months old.

DS1 was also small and he wore preemie/nb sizes for at least 2-3 months before he woulf fit 0-3 months clothes.

They both fit Gap's up to 7lbs sizes for a while...it was nice to have stuff that wasn't so huge for them. They were born in the winter so for me it was good to have fitting clothes to keep them warm.

DD was in preemie clothes for several months, IIRC. But she wasn't a great eater.

We likes preemie sleep-and-plays better than gowns, as they kept her warmer (it was a cold winter).

My twins never wore preemie clothes. They came home in newborn sizes and moved to 0-3 month size within a couple of weeks, I think.

Mine never wore preemie clothing either. They were both over 6 pounds and the Gerber newborn onesies (Gerber runs smaller than some other brands) fit fine.
