What to have DDs wear under Lilly Pulitzer shift dresses?

DDs have several Lilly Pulitzer shift dresses. I already size up at least one size, but they still seem pretty short. I tried HA bike shorts in a coordinating color yesterday, but they did not look quite right. Would capri length leggings be a better bet? What do you do? FWIW, DDs are 6, 4 and 2. Thanks:)

FWIW, I find that LP runs pretty small. I would try capri length leggings, like you mentioned. Do you have a link to the dresses?

I got DD some of these ruffles leggings at gymboree for her summer dresses. I think the ribbed leggings would seem a little heavy with the LP dress, I would want something smoother.

I have bought them at a local boutique and most recently I have ordered from Trendi Tikes. They are nylon/spandex so they are smooth and dresses don't 'stick' to them like they sometimes do cotton bikers(my DD also wears cotton bikers)
They wash and wear very well and ours haven't picked easily so even theough they are a little $$, I think they are worth it. You can get light pink since it can pretty much go with anything for girls IMO.
