Considering I got 4 thumbs up on my dinner last night, I had to share the recipe.

I used homemade meat sauce in place of the ground chuck + sauce. It filled 2 pie pans. We have a whole pie for leftovers plus.

Spaghetti Pie

12 oz. spaghetti, uncooked
1 lb. ground chuck
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce or 4 cups homemade sauce
4 T. butter or margarine (I used 2 T of unsalted butter)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 eggs, well beaten
2 cups (or more) cottage cheese
1 cup (or more) mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown and drain the meat. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer. Prepare the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and rinse. Stir in butter, eggs, and Parmesan cheese into spaghetti noodles. Form mixture into a crust in two buttered 10 in. pans or one buttered 9 X13 pan. Spread cottage cheese over crust (s). Cover with meat and sauce mixture. Top with mozzarella cheese. At this point pie can be frozen or refrigerated. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes (longer if frozen) or until bubbly. Let stand for about 15 minutes to set. Cut into wedges or squares to serve. Makes 10 to 12 servings.

sounds good and easy. Similar to some quick/cheater lasagna recipes I've seen.
