I just have a little "Yay" that DD got into the preschool I wanted, which happens to be the same school DS attends. So next year we'll drop him off at second grade, have about an hour to walk at our lake, and then DD will go to the same site for preschool. This school is about 1/4 mile from our house, if that.
This preschool site is impacted, so I am just happy that we got in. I will be able to walk both DC to school, which is really important to me. And DD should be guaranteed a spot for the following year, too, when she will be in pre-K.
