This outfit looked cute on the hanger but now that it's on her I think maybe it's too many tiers. Thoughts?

Yes I think it's too much together. Both pieces are cute independently but not as an outfit.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Of course now that she's got it on she won't take it off! Oh well, we are just going to church and then my moms. I know better for next time :)

Eh, I say it's cute. It might not be the most fashionably forward combo, but it doesn't clash, so I say it's fine if she likes it (which I know mine would!)

It's fun...she looks like a giant cupcake! OK, she also looks like she dressed herself, but big deal. ;) She has her whole life to worry about fashion.

Exactly.

I have to pick my battles everyday with DD. Today she wore green Tea collection outfit with purple shoes. Nice. Last week she only wore rainboots with everything(and hers are polka dot or navy with red lobsters). Easter included at least 5 or 6 items in the hair (barrettes, ponyholders, and headband - not any of which matched each other or the outfit)

ehh, I wouldnt let my dd wear it to a really nice resteraunt or to church but just about anything else is fair game. At least it doesnt clash and is seasonally appropriate!

then again, I've been letting dd1 wear her "tiara" (complete w/pink boa) everywhere including when we went out to dinner for Mother's day
