Quick - pediped sizing vs. stride rite?

Want to buy DS some fisherman sandals on sale and a month ago he measured a 7.5 at a Stride Rite outlet. I can't decide whether to get the 7.5-8 or 8-8.5 and these are non-returnable.

Thoughts?

I'm not really sure how their sizes compare, but I think the pedipeds are supposed to have extra room in them. I would go for the 7.5-8. Again, I am not speaking from experience.

Pedipeds tend to run big so I think you'd be fine with the 7.5-8 but before you order I would go to a local store and have him try them on if you can.
