High School grad gift ideas?

Anyone have any ideas for graduation gifts? If it helps, this is for a boy who will be living at home his first year of college.

I hate to say it, but cash is probably what they would like the best.

Well, it won't earn you any popularity points, but how about a decent tie? Every man needs to own a few really good ties, for interviews, jobs, events etc. I have purchased kids ties when they graduate if I've never seen them wearing one that doesn't look like something their mommy picked out for them. It would be something they keep a while, unlike cash.
