I had a Bissel power sweep that I used in between vaccum sessions and everyday cleaning. It broke down last week and I am looking for a reasonable cordless sweeper.

please recommend yours.

We just had out the Electrolux ErgoRapido and we all love it! It's a stick vac and a dust buster. And it's bright orange, you can't miss it.

:yeahthat: I'll second the recommendation for the ErgoRapido. If you search past threads, you'll see many people love it. I bought mine at Costco.

How does it do with pet hair?

5th. Had mine for almost 2 years. Worth every penny.

You do have to set your expectations though. Mine is an older model. 12 volts. Battery lasts for about 15 min per charge. Just enough time for me to run a quick sweep downstairs (no carpet) around the common area. It picks up food bits after the kids have eaten, picks up cat hair and dust bunnies along the perimeter of the rooms and hallways. If you have carpet or area rug, it needs to be berber or with very short fiber. I'm always amazed at how much it sucks up when I empty the little dust bin, even when the floor does look that dirty.

Oh, it can pick up an incredible amount of cat hair.

I love my Electrolux ErgoRapido. It's great with pet hair too. We have a medium hair length cat and usually his little fur balls just gets blown around by other vacs...but the Ergo sucks them up and all the crumbs the kids drop at the table and under the table. It's great on cat litter too!

it's also my bug catcher!

I have the Hoover Link and LOVE it. I use it daily, sometimes several times a day. I am not sure how I got along without it before. It's a bit more expensive - but it's awesome. It has a smooth floor suction, and a brush suction for carpet. The battery could be a little longer. But I can do my whole house (90% tile/hardwood, 10% carpet in the bedrooms).
