DS1 has trouble using scissors - he tries to move the blades using two hands instead of holding them in one hand. I found a link for the training scissors that have two sets of loops (http://funandfunction.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66_1_12&products_id=292) - one for adult and one for child - but I thought I remembered someone posting about training scissors with finger placement help for DC to use alone. Anyone familiar with them? If not, anyone have experience using the two loop set? Should I get the training scissors that don't have loops (http://funandfunction.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66_1_12&products_id=290) instead? TIA

These (http://www2.fiskars.com/Products/Classroom/Preschool-Scissors/Spring-action-Scissors)are the pair I have for DS. I bought them during the back to school sales last fall (walmart maybe), I haven't seen them since (not like I've been looking mind you).

We've got the spring action ones. Still needs adults to encourage him to use them properly -- but they are working fine.
