What can I use to clean my shower? It gets soap scum and mildew build-up fairly quickly. I have a great scrubber brush, but what can I use that will help break up the build-up on the tiles and grout? I usually try to clean the shower while I'm in it, so I need something "green" that won't kill me with toxic fumes.

I just bought some Method soap scum remover but I haven't tried it yet. I've never been disappointed in their products, so I'm excited to give it a go. Will report back if I ever get around to cleaning the tub! :bag

Baking soda with a squirt of castille soap (such as Dr. Bronner's which I also use on myself). Green and cheap. You can a few drops of tea tree oil to the paste, which has antibacterial and antifungal properties.

If you want something you can spray on the tile, you can make a solution of baking soda, castille soap and water and put it in a spray bottle.
