Hit my with best brand for boys 6+. We have a pair of geox, but need a lace up sneakers pair as he's learning to tie his own shoe laces.

DS wears Geox, but for tie shoes he loves Puma. We get them at Nordstrom during sales and they are wonderfully affordable! He wears them to school and on the tennis court - great shoes!

New Balance -- that is what my girls wear. Lots of the boys at her school wear them too. And, her sports med dr (for her suspected broken foot) was happy that she was wearing "good" shoes.
