Done with bottles!!!

DS has gone 4 days now without a bottle.

:applause: Congratulations! We are almost there. Down to 2 four ounce bottles and yesterday she only had 1!!

Fortunately for us, DS wasn't super attached to his bottles, but the key was finding something else he would drink enough out of for me to feel like he was getting enough hydration. We finally settled on a regular cup with a regular straw for milk, which we of course heavily supervise, and then the Munchkin straw cup for water/juice combo (probably 10-20% juice). So we started by dropping all but the morning and night bottle, then when he got comfortable with the straw, we dropped the other two. He has not even seemed to notice. We use a plastic cup that has a UGA Bulldog on it, which he loves, and was obsessed with anyway (anytime my husband had something to drink in one, he would want it just because of the dog), and that seemed to make it like a little treat that he gets to drink from the bulldog cup.
