Am I done yet?--petty whine

I'm at 38.5 weeks, 5 cm, 70% effaced (as of last Tuesday!) and not in labor. I'm am so ready to be done. The nursery is done, the clothes and diapers are ready. I hate not being able to make plans more than one day in advance. Yes, I'm glad to have made it this far (had 16 wks of bedrest), glad she looks good, but I'm done. DS was born at 38.5 weeks, DD, it's your turn now. Out!

So I'm going to guess that now that you posted this in the BP, you'll be in labor tonight!

I'm assuming you've tried all of the old wives tales by now, huh? A friend of mine swore by the spicy eggplant dish she had at an Indian restaurant the night before her son was born.... I however, chalk it up to my doc. I was running out of room, feeling like hell and flirting with Pre-E. I was induced after a false start in the hospital at 34 weeks. DS was born at 37 weeks and was over 8lbs. So maybe the moral to my story is... call your doc? ;)
