DD1 began Gianvi (yaz) for acne treatment about six months ago. It has done wonders for her skin -- truly a miracle after a year + of getting nowhere with prescription topicals. It also was helping her keep a regular period...which had been an issue.
However, it seems in the last few months, she has been starting her period before she gets to the placebo pills (about a week before). This happened a couple months ago, not last month, and then this month again. So I am thinking it might be an issue with one side of her ovaries.
Any ideas of what could be happening? I am thinking about phoning her doctor but thought I'd put it out here with all you knowledgable mamas.
