I just went to Amazon to order a pack of size 3 Pamers Dry Max 160 ct, and I was shocked to discover that the price has gone up by almost $15, and thats with the SS and no more 2 day shipping.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing with their diaper order on Amazon? I really hate the bait and switch tactic with their deals.

They are still there for me. Are you sure you're looking at ones sold by Amazon? Try changing the box size to another size and see if it shows up.

I just tried to re-search but same story. the diapers are now more like $.21 each vs. $.15. Maybe if i wait a day or two it will come back down.

Thanks for letting me vent!

babycheapskate posted awhile back that diaper prices are increasing. Sometimes it's just a matter of searching the right size package for a better deal, but I suspect this is the start of the increase everywhere.

Not sure about Amazon prices, haven't looked for a while, but P&G, makers of Pampers and Luvs, did announce they were raising prices.

Ah, I misread and thought you meant no SS (I think the price difference threw me). I just looked up the ones I normally get (size 4 cruisers) and the SS price has only gone up roughly $1 from the price in early April.

But I did read that the prices were going up soon.

This is what I've noticed too! Miss those .15 days!

I just had to reorder diapers for both DS1 & 2 and couldn't find anything less than $.19 a dipe for a size 5. :(

WARNING:
At first I was about to get them for just under .18 (had to get a smaller quantity of 116, thought it was strange) but by the time I pressed 'subscribe now', the price had increased significantly, bumping the price up to $.22/dipe. I almost didn't notice in the checkout page. This was all within 10 minutes so be sure to confirm your prices, ladies, before you check out!

I think last time I ordered I ended up going to my accounts page and then looking under "manage subscribe and save." Since I often "cancel" my subscription, it seemed like the prices were better if I reordered that way, than when I just did a regular search...I think!
Gosh, I hope the prices are not going up...that was so handy!

Are you not getting the amazonmom discount or something? Isn't it 15% off for S&S and another 15% for amazon mom?

babycheapskate gave a link to the amazon coupons where there was a $1.50 coupon making Baby Dry size 5 172ct $30.69.

I just ordered a box through SS and still got the 30% off. I've always paid $.22 per dipe....they used to be $.15 each? I use the pampers swaddlers size 5.

But it did lose the 2 day shipping.

The swaddlers are, in general, more expensive (as are the cruisers.) We just use the baby dry's and I have never noticed a difference for daytime use. For nighttime, we do use the extended protection cruisers (also more expensive.) If your kid isn't sensitive, you might want to try the baby dry's and save some $$$
