I am going to a small party today and I have been asked to bring a side dish. It's casual and we are doing turkey burgers and hotdogs.
What should I bring? Potato chips, macaroni salad?
I could stop by Ralphs or Trader Joe's on the way but I don't have time to prepare or cook anything myself. Any ideas?

A cold black bean, tomato and corn salad?
A green salad?
Sliced tomato and Mozzarella cheese with basil
or one of those cherry tomato and mozzarella ball salads?
Salsa and tortilla chips?
Hummus and pita chips or pretzel flats (TJ's)?

What about veggies and dip/hummus?

If you have a Costco nearby, they have all different types of sides...like couscous salad, bean salad, tabbouli, etc.

For stuff like this I love cutting a watermelon into wedges and bringing that! Easy, cheap, healthy, and everyone loves it! I use a big roasting pan for the wedges and just saran wrap the top for trnasportation.

That was exactly what I was thinking.

Yup, this or fruit salad. No one ever thinks about fruit, yet everytime I bring it...it's one of the first things to go. Loved by kids & adults...and good for you too.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I got pita, hummus, potato chips, potato salad, watermelon slices and cantelope slices. The fruit was the first thing to go. The kids all loved it. Next was the pita and hummus. Both things I wouldn't have thought of on my own. Thank you! I was also hoping for the premade caprese salad too but couldn't find anything preprepared.
