Baby girl is here!

Hannah Ruth made her sudden appearance tonight. 1st painful ctx @ 8:18PM, then every 8 min, arrived @ hospital 9:05, born 9:20. No time for drugs. She is 6 lbs 3 oz, 19.5". Thank you all with input on my induce or not thread. She came her own way, thankfully DH was home so we got to the hospital, otherwise it would have been an ambulance or at home by myself. Still a little in shock at the speed of it all. The pain was #$%&#$ but it is so nice to feel good and be able to walk. Wow.

Wow, what a story! We wish we all had one hour labors followed by uncomplicated births. Sounds amazing. And on BBB within hours of the fact - you have your priorities straight! Welcome baby Hannah! :yay:

Thanks. :) I wasn't planning on a drug-free birth, but kinda suspected it would be fast and may end up that way. (I'd been 5 cm for 2 weeks.) Now that I'm not in the throes of it (they heard me all down the hall, but I don't care), glad it worked out. They didn't have time to put my feet in stirrups or attach any monitors, barely got the saline lock in before she came. She's doing well--I think I'll just permanently duct tape her to my boobs. No sleep last night, but that's good practice for the next 6 weeks (6 months?). Yeah, posting here soon afterwards, what would I do w/o my laptop? Guess we'll never know...Thanks for all your support, you ladies are awesome! :applause::jammin:
