Basically, just something that will keep her hands out of her mouth--I don't think she's in a ton of pain. But there are lots of sickies around and she's got both hands full on in her mouth the last little while and a few teeth coming in (that look painful). I know she's going to pick up every germ around if we can't stop this soon. What are good ideas for a 2 year old?

I don't want to give her meds.

I am a bit confused..you do not want her to put anything in her mouth, or you want something to occupy her hands??

We used the mesh feeders with frozen fruit inside. Worked great, but made a huge mess.

Well, I just don't want to give her medicine. And find some way to keep her hands out of her mouth. I don't think just occupying her hands will work. I prob need to give her something different to suck on. Although I'm not sure what to do when we're out all day.

We use a cold damp wash cloth. Really there's no way to completely keep hands out of the mouth I just make sure to wash DD's hands frequently during the day.
