Babyproofing sliding closet doors

Anyone done this successfully? I bought these (http://www.amazon.com/Sliding-Door-Locks-2-Pack/dp/B000067Q6K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1307135796&sr=8-3) but they pop right off if you bang the door. Any other ideas? TIA

I also had that sliding door lock and it didn't work at all.

I now have this adjustable locking strap on my sliding glass closet doors. They seem to work fine, but then again, DD really hasn't tried to get in the closet yet.
