Action Figures

Help me out here ladies- my soon to be 4 year old has requested a Spiderman for his birthday along with a Superman for his big brother so they can play together. :heartbeat: I was thinking the imaginext line but I can't find a Spiderman. Help! What action figures are good for a 4 and 6.5 year old and would have both of these heros in the same scale?

ETA- they have never seen any of the cartoons/movies and only read a few books.

Marvel Superhero Squad guys are AWESOME. about the same size as the imaginex, but no movable hands/legs if you want smaller guys.

for 4-6.5y though we've always done "regular" action figures...the "littler" guys are considered "babyish" in our house.

they do still play with the superhero squad guys alot though. there is a TON of figures, we have xmen, superman, spiderman, hulk, indiana jones, star wars, gi joe...all these are made into Superhero Squad...easy to find at any target/wm about $6 a 2pk

Can you link? I get overwelmed searching amazon. :P I keep finding overpriced ones or high shipping. What's the normal retail anyway?

I will look. They are not cheap. Many people collect them which drives up the price. My DH and DS love them and have been known to pay crazy amounts for some rare ones.

Spoke to my Dh and he says our 4 yo actually prefers the smaller 3 inch ones, so maybe you can buy those instead. They are certainly cheaper!
