DDs are 7 & 5, and it's going to be H-O-T here the next few days.

Besides a slip -n- slide, any other outdoor water toys that are fun? I don't know if I want to manage a huge water slide thing, although those look great!

This may not qualify as a toy, but a good old fashioned sprinkler is great for jumping over and for providing a spray while running around.

I'll be watching the thread as we could also use some more water toys.

I can say I haven't had any luck with the cheapo inflatables at Target - I can't think of the brand, but they have a price point around $10 (blue/orange box) and I always think they may be fine, but usually they are too flimsy to be fun.

The kids around here have been using the "noodle" water guns and they work really well and are less trouble than water pistols. I am hoping they will hold up much better since the aren't as breakable. You just stick them in the water and pull it back to fill it, super easy. We got them for $5 at Walmart: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=noodle+water+gun&x=0&y=0
