Here's a picture of mine - there are 6 size 3 diapers in one of the inside pockets - you can see how much room is still left over for everything else you need. Love that all the pockets are actually usable, and space is still available when they are filled up.

There are 4 inside pockets, 2 open pockets (perfect for bottles) on the outside, 2 smaller zippered pockets on the front - great for mom's stuff, and a large antibicrobial zippered pocket on the back.

I don't know, maybe I'm on the odd-woman out here, but I ditched my jumbo diaper bag as fast as I could (and it was nice!). And I had twins.

But I figure there is a discarded diaper bag at the beginning of many a child's life.. . ;)

I got my huge one off of ebags (their brand). I don't see it now. I would browse ebags, they have great pics inside and out, and usually have coupons. FWIW, we really only used it for travel. It's so much nicer to have a smaller one.

The JuJuBe Be Prepared is big and machine washable! Lots of pockets (including the Mommy pocket!). All of their bags are great!

I'm partial to the DadGear Original series backpack:

It's got pouches, pockets, zippered compartments, a key ring and, best of all IMO, straps to hang it off your stroller if you're not going to wear it.

Also, the thin padding of the straps made wearing my DD a breeze, though the sheer size of the pack made it easy to over-pack, so YMMV.

It's a much more managable size than the Ju Ju Be Be Prepared. I had a 4 yr. old, and a newborn when I bought it though, but honestly I think that the Be Prepared is overkill.

Another vote for the Be Prepared bag by JuJuBe. It is enormous, has fantastic organization (tons of pockets, zippers, separation), is machine-washable, and is great quality. This company makes great diaper bags and accessories that are really well thought-out. I also recommend some Be Quicks as accessories to organize the inside of the bag.
