Does this exist? Need to be able to hang a bag on the handles or store a mediium- large bag in the basket. Needs to accommodate a tall child. Mac XLR? Cybex Callisto? Are any of these not tippy with a bag hanging on it and no kiddo in the seat? I thought i was going to take a BJCE or get the Britax b-agile or BJC Micro on our trip and realized that with all of our luggage, the stroller won't fit in the trunk of the car when i go to my parents house, so i still need more of an umbrella fold for traveling. This stroller would be for traveling and mall, don't need all terrain, but needs a better push than a Mac Triumph. I thought i was all settled on the Britax b-agile and now i'm back to square one:confused:.

Needs to:
Accommodate TALL 3yo (at least 25 inches seat to canopy)
Be comfortable to be in all day and easy for me to push, preferable one handed
Able to hang a large diaper bag off of or fit with easy access in the basket
Decent canopy

Does anything like this exist that won't be tippy with a bag hanging on it? I guess my bag would be medium sized - we'll be buying food and drinks at the parks, so it would just be the usual diaper bag stuff packed. I cannot find a stroller!!!!!

I would look at the Techno, but I will advise that it has a much bigger fold than the Triumph. I haven't used the Techno with my 5 yr. old, but it would work and it has a tall seat back and a 50lb weight limit. The push on Triumph doesn't bother me I just can't push it for a mile+ (but I have a bad back), but it's a great size, a great weight, and if you put a pretty full stainless steel water bottle in the basket it doesn't tip. If your #1 concern is the fold then go with the Triumph, but I can totally see the Techno working too however if you are hanging a diaper bag from it then I might consider putting a stainless full water bottle in it. Usually though I end up taking out DD2 and immediately putting my bag in the seat and it doesn't tip (worked with the Triumph too).

I think the Cybex would work for you. I had an 09 Topaz and it wasn't tippy with a diaper bag, without a child in the seat.
Have you considered the Mac Starck at all? Fits tall kids, big canopy, has a shelf to set bags on, so it's not tippy. Plus it comes w/a rain cover & travel bag, all for only $70!

Well, you can eliminate the GLuxe. It tips over if there is a diaper bag hanging from the handles unless there is a child in the seat. Good luck on your search!

Callisto would fit the bill, techno or starck would work too. Not sure you'd want to push any of these one handed for a long time but I often push my very tall 35lb almost 3 year old in my callisto with one hand. He's very comfy in it and often wants to take it over from the baby. Not tippy at all. That said, it has a quite large fold, even though it's a long umbrella fold. I have a starck and it's definitely quite a big smaller. Both of kids are rearfacing still so I sometimes put an umbrella stroller on the floor of the back seat. If he's ff'ing that would probably be ok if you can secure it somehow (to prevent it becoming a projectile).

I can push my Techno much longer (never done it but could probably do 2 miles with it if needed) than I can push my Triumph because of the suspension on the Techno. I have heard mixed things about the push on the Cybex strollers.

I have a Maclaren Ryder and it does not tip because I hang my Skip Hop diaper bag from the bottom part of the frame (see the black bag behind the stroller?) I can even hang my camera bag off it as well.

Here is my 42-43 inch tall 4 yo in it:

i have considered it, but are the wheels the same size and type as on the triumph? i really want something with a better push for me and a better ride for ds if he falls asleep in it. my triumph wheels are 5 inches diameter, i measured this morning.

thank you this was helpful to know, since there is no place here to see a callisto. is the callisto fold much bigger than the onyx? there's at onyx at my local BRUS to try out.

The Callisto is pretty large and heavy for an umbrella stroller, but it's feature packed. I would go to BRU and try out the Onyx. If you like it, I would go with it for the following reasons

- lighter than the Callisto. If it gives you everything you need, why carry around a heavier Callisto?

- slightly smaller than the Callisto

- the Onyx should still be able to accommodate your child

- the new Super canopy is pretty neat. I think the Callisto has it as well, but if the Onyx meets your needs then no need

The only downside would be that the Callisto has a connected single handle for a one handed push and the Onyx does not. The push on the Callisto should be better than the Onyx as well. I haven't seen anywhere that carries a Callisto in store. You may be able to order from a website with free return shipping so you can try it out to see if you like it, and can return it for free if you don't.

I've seen an onyx but I haven't compared the folded sizes. If you look at the cybex website, the callisto is a couple inches longer and wider.

One other thing to note is the onyx has a shoulder strap while the callisto has a carry handle

I would suggest the Inglesina Trip. I have both the Trip and a Cybex Onyx and the trip is my go to for not tipping. By comparison, I find the Onyx quite tippy, although it is not too bad. Nonetheless, I much prefer the Trip. It has been our go to travel stroller for a while and I really have to add a lot of things on back to make it tip. It is also both smaller and lighter than the Onyx, but has the same basic features and has a carry handle (versus the strap on the Onyx). However, I believe the newer Onyx has a much better canopy. I definitely like both strollers and use both, but if not tippy is a priority, I would definitely look at the Trip.
