Anything new in the world of new walker shoes?

When J was Z's age, everyone was loving Preschoolians and SKR. Are they still the go to brands? Z's feet are very wide and thick if that helps.

With DD1 (4/06, so this in the summer of 2007) we did Pedipeds Originals while she was cruising, then we did Crocs which really helped her walk unassisted, and then the See Kai Runs with the softer sole. We tried Stride Rites but DD1 was in a 5.5 XXW by the time she was just starting to walk and Stride Rite didn't make any of the soft soled shoes in an XXW past size 5:shake: . DD2 who has pretty wide feet, but she is still in 6-12 mos. Pedipeds hasn't started walking yet so I can't recommend anything. We might try Riley Roos though, which I learned about from this board.
