Bug/Mosquito Repellant

I have a 17-month that seems to enjoy getting chigger and mosquito bites at "school". Any suggestions? I've got a call into my Pediatrician, but I would like to purchase or order something soon...the office sometimes gets a little backed-up on their non-emergent phone messages. I'm going to post this in the Toddler site too. Thanks for any suggestions. (Oh, my DS doesn't have skin/dermatological allergies, and I'm open to most SAFE options...ie I don't have to go organic/natural).

I use the CA Baby citronella bug repellant and his teachers say it works well. I feel that it is the best option for us, given that DS is prone to licking things, including himself, and that we are using it almost daily.
