I just moved to the suburbs and my mother is buying my daughter a BOB. My husband and I rarely run now (getting older and doing bike/elliptical) so it will likely be used for walking and occasional short jog.

For malls and museums, I still love my Maclaren.

Do I really need 16" wheels?

Is the weight difference really significant between the SE and CE?

We have a very small garage.

Does anyone have a 2011 BOB SE or CE?

Personally, i prefer the larger wheels. I don't run (though my husband does), but I like having the bigger wheels for bumpier terrain, etc. I don't think it would take up any more space in your trunk or garage per se. You can always really easily pop the wheels off.
Plus, I think the resale is better on the 16inch version.

Originally I thought all had 16 inch wheels anyway

I also like the black wheels of the SE much better than the aluminum wheels of the CE.
I think overall the SE looks better.
I use mine at the zoo, for long walks, etc.
16 inch BOBs on my CL fly off. 12 inchers tend to sit.
I would go with SE...

You don't need them... but they certainly won't hurt and the resale will be better/easier. I am not a fan of the look of the metal wheels myself...

I have a 2011 SE but FWIW kinda still wish I had gone with the old version and am contemplating putting mine on CL...

i've owned both bobs and much prefer the 16" wheels- roll much smoother and hop curbs easier. also better for resale and i think just look cooler :)
