I don't use my BJCM very much, and to be honest I really don't like it. That being said, I am taking it on an upcoming trip by plane and brought it out to try DS in it before we go. When he is sitting in the seat, it seems as though the waist strap is almost around his chest! I tried adjusting the shoulder strap height, but it seems to make no difference. He is 10 months old. I'm about to give up and just order something like a Stark last minute. Anyone have this problem? How can I fix this? I called Baby Jogger and they were really of no help.

Can you post a picture? I've never had anything like this happen on mine so I feel like I need to see it to understand.

I can't quite picture it either. DD is small so the belly pad/crotch strap comes up fairly high--is that what you mean? It's not across her chest though.

Yeah, the waist strap does come up pretty high on small kids, but not by the chest area. This was my 12 mo. old in a 2010 when I first got it last summer. He was a real peanut, but the straps did not seem uncomfortable for him.
