I got a pair of these Frye Carson boots in navy - probably solely because they were on clearance and the reviews are amazing. I got them today and DH thought it was so bizarre that I bought blue cowboy boots, and he said yeah theyre cool if your 18 or want to look like jessica simpson. Is there an age cutoff to this style?

I think I would just look like an old lady wearing blue cowboy boots! Its a bummer because they are comfy and the leather is so soft. Thoughts?

Don't listen to him!!! Those boots are great and you will get tons of use out of them. They aren't some bright or crazy color....they are navy!! Nice find!!!

They are still sitting in the box...I feel too self conscious! I certainly wouldnt be wearing them with a dress. I can see it with dark jeans or leggings in the winter, but then again cowboy boots are slippery. Ugh! I think its a lost cause...I think that style is too risky for me.

Classic...especially if you are in a state that boots are fairly common like Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, Montana etc.

Great looking boots - just don't go wearing them with short dresses and you will be fine. That seems to be the fave look of the college girls here.
