Magazine.com and $5 coupon questions

I have yet to be able to use this coupon on magazines I would actually like (People, Vanity Fair) - is there a trick or do more inclusive ones ever come up? Thanks!

Is it a coupon or a "gift certificate" that they sent you.
If it's a gift certificate, you can redeem it for cash (they will send you a check) - look at the email - at the bottom there should be a link to redeem for cash.

As for other coupons, often they are only good for certain magazines.

Thanks so much for that info about redeeming for cash--I've been ordering from them for years and had no idea I could use those $5 offers for cash also!
