Just found out that I failed my 1 hr glucose screen. I go back next week for the 3 hr screen. I was told not to eat anything after midnight the night before, but I'm wondering if there is anything specific that I should eat the day before. I've seen some information that says to load up on carbs, and other info that says to stay away from the stuff. Anyone know? TIA!

Did your doctor tell you anything? If not, I wouldn't worry about it and just go about eating as you normally do. My doctor specifically gave me a sheet of instructions to eat some extra carbs with every meal (I think it was like a glass of grape juice or something), so I followed her instructions.

Good luck! Fingers crossed that you'll pass your 3-hour GTT!

No specifics from the doc, just to NOT eat after midnight.

If no instructions from the dr. Then eat as you normally would. I failed the 1 hr with DD and had to go for the 3 hr which I passed with flying colors. I ate as I normally would the day before but was starving by the time it was over.
