I'm starting to think about DD's party. She wants a princess type party but since the crowd will be mixed gender I was thinking princess/queen/king. I though I could get crowns at the local party store and maybe have the kids decorate them. Try to make some fancy cupcakes...maybe pick up a cupcake stand to display them. It's going to be a small party probably 3 or 4 kids and their siblings.

Thanks!

Knights works too. Here is a thread about the same question:

We've been to princess & pirate themed parties. I think princess & prince or knight would also work.

We did a princess party for dd1 this year. I got some paper crowns from JoAnns and had the kids color them. There was only 1 little bit but he had a prince favorbag instead of princess.

We did Cinderella's Mascaraed Ball for DD's 3rd bday party and the boys wore halloween costumes.

Both genders could decorate crowns with markers stickers etc....
