My 3 year old just got into board games, and we want to stock up. We bought Candyland and Chutes & Ladders last year on some crazy $1 sale, don't remember when and how. Now looking at amazon, games are about $10 (such as Hi Ho Cherrio, Busy Town, etc.)

Where can I find some better deals?

was at Toys r Us today -- LOTS of board games, card games, etc. are on clearance and it's currently 25% additional off anything on clearance.

These types of games are so cheap around thanksgiving/Christmas time. I have bought many preschool games at Target over the years during those big sales. Card games like matching and old maid are fun too and usually available at the $1 store.

Target $1 spot has flashcards (space, insects, dinosaurs, animals, etc.) right now. We bough 2 sets of the ones that we liked and combined the pair for a matching game. Works great, and the kids are learning a lot too.
