Interior decorating challenged, please help....
Going to make use of a dresser we already have (circa 1972, inherited from inlaws, not my favorite piece, but it is in good condition). This is about the look: http://www.bassettfurniture.com/Wood-Dresser-Pine-Bedroom-Storage-Furniture-DZ9159.asp
I want the room to look appropriate for DS, age 2. What color of bed, nightstand, bookcase should I pair with it? Black? Lighter wood? I want to avoid "matching" the color and hopefully the other pieces will be more youthful and less 1970s.
