I found an Uppa Baby Vista in pretty good condition for $200 today at a local consignment shop. I'm almost positive it was this one: http://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=122289&

Before I go back tomorrow - this is a great deal, right? What other strollers does this compare to? Thanks, y'all!

I'm not sure what year this one is...is there anyway to tell?

On the stroller frame in the area of the basket (I think on the bar that runs across the middle of the basket) there should be a label that says what year the Vista was made. Also, in the FAQ section of Uppababy's site they says "You can verify that your stroller is a 2010 model by checking the sku number located just above the born on date. 2010 models have a sku number of 0056" (models before 2010 doesn't have the 4th, upright seat position).

Thanks for the input - one more question. Is there anything (year, condition, potential missing parts, etc) that would NOT make this worth the $200 price tag?

Look at the manufacture date. I think $200 would be a fair price for a 2007 and beyond. Yes there is a label on the bottom of the fram that has the born on date. If the stroller was manufactured in November or later of 2009 you can assume it is going to be a 2010 model.

The only other thing I would do is look at the wear on the wheels, esp. on a 2007 or 2008 model because Uppa has had issues with wheel wear (the wear goes inward towards the stroller, and while I haven't noticed it affecting the push of the stroller I am about to have to buy my second set of tires for my stroller because they have worn out). I really do love my Vista and I highly recommend it. I would sell my 2007 Vista for $200 with a whole new set of tires in a heart beat. I would also look on your Craigslist and see if there are any Vistas for sale there to compare prices.

You can also tell by the way the seat looks. If it's one solid color, it's a 2009 or later.
If it's a color with black, it's a 2008 or earlier.

Here's a 2008

Either way, I think $200 is a good deal if you were looking for a nice reversible stroller :)
