We were back and forth on whether to do an inground system. We decided to go with this one as a stop gap measure (we don't know how long we will live here, it's not in the front of the house) before we invest over $1000 in a real system. It's pretty sturdy and the hoop is so easy to lower and raise. Dick's used recommended a local company to do the set up.

We have something similar to the OP. Easy to raise for when DH shoots hoops. We also went with someone to set it up, no way we could get it home in my car.
