What color shirt with these pants?

I went shopping today and found some things I like and fit. Yay!

Which colors can I wear with the pants? I'm so bad at this!

Brown is a true neutral and any but the brown will be fine. I wore my brown shorts the other day with a blue or green shirt. Sometimes I wear them with white or black too.

The chocolate chip color will go with just about any pastel: light pink, periwinkle blue, lavender, pale yellow, khaki, mint green, white or off white, soft tan, cream. I would probably do a cardigan/button down shirt over a white cami to break up the colors, or a white cardigan with some embellishment, or a flowy cotton shirt (BR or Gap always has some). Cute shorts, great price :wink2:

I like the choc chip, looks slimming. I think any jewel tone or pastel, or white/cream would be great. I especially like dark brown with coral or white.

Thank you. For some reason, brown has always thrown me off!

I would wear pretty much anything with dark brown that I would wear with black with one exception being gray (i.e., I'd wear gray with black but not dark brown). I wouldn't wear navy with black and I also wouldn't wear it with dark brown. But blues, pinks, greens, corals, yellow, white, etc. look nice with dark brown IMO.
