I need a better teether for DC. We have Sophie, but DC doesn't seem to love it. We also have a water-filled ring which is great, but my hand (or DC's) gets too cold holding it. I've also tried cold washcloths. Any other ideas? DC is only 6mo, so I don't feel comfortable giving frozen bagels yet. I'd love something cold that has a non-cold part that is easy for me or DC to hold. Thank you!

Vulli teethers (http://www.amazon.com/Vulli-Vanilla-Flavored-Teether-Colors/dp/B001N45DM2/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1311017946&sr=1-1) are nice as our the hand/foot set teethers (http://www.amazon.com/Weeplay-4333-Weplay-Hand-Teether/dp/B0015KIB5U/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1311017977&sr=1-1), but the hand/foot teethers are better for 8 months+.

My DD liked the LifeFactory silicone teething ring (http://www.amazon.com/Lifefactory-Multi-Sensory-Silicone-Teether/dp/B002SG7KO8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311018120&sr=8-1). She also liked the Haba wooden teethers a LOT: something like the Klingelring (http://www.amazon.com/Haba-1121-Kringelring-Clutching-toy/dp/B0002HYCMI/ref=sr_1_3?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1311018183&sr=1-3) or other wooden clutching toy. She also chewed on pretty much anything she had her hands on!

We use the LifeFactory ring a LOT. DD has been teething for the last few weeks (three new teeth in the last two weeks, two more prior to that in May, and seems like there are three more on the way in).

The Munchkin mesh baby feeders if over 6m. Put frozen peach slices or frozen green beans in there to gnaw on. Nutrition, cold, hard...perfect!

That sounds great, I'm going to have to give that a try!
