I worked there for 6 years and left 8 years ago. I am still in consulting.

I worked there a long time ago in the LA office (from 1994-1997); went to business school, but didn't go back there after b-school.

Thanks to all of you for replying. I was looking for some info on the culture, structure, etc. An insiders POV, if you will. However, I just got off the phone with the recruiter and they are not budging on the 80% travel policy - Monday thru Thursday. That's just not in the cards for me.

DH worked for Deloitte. And yes, he traveled. This was pre-kids so we were able to see a lot of the world that we wouldn't have seen (I went with him as often as I could). I can't fathom doing that now or having him gone all the time!

ETA: I think DH worked for them through 2002?

I worked for one of their competitors on the audit side. Very similar organization. I left as soon as I got pg with DD. There is no way I could have balanced motherhood with the hours and travel associated with one of those companies. I know other women who do, but I am not cut out for that life at all.
