Looking for an answer to a logistical question. I have an ibert seat for my bicycle

We used it on vacation with a bike that happened to be at our rental house and loved it. FF to this week when DH and I got new bikes. I got a Trek Mamba (so basically a mountain bike). But the clearance between my gears and brakes is not enough to install the seat. So two questions. I am thinking that if I could raise the handlebars about 1" I could easily get the seat on. Is there a product that will do that for me...I'm thinking that maybe they sell some sort of spacers to lengthen that space. Or my second thought was that I could rotate my gears/brakes out of the way and also have space.

Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe a stem raiser would work? DH has the Ibert on his mountain bike, and it fits, but it's tight.
