BCIA (the Baby Carrier Industry Alliance) has issued a warning about buying knock-off brand name carriers (Ergo, Beco, etc). (Do NOT buy through the link they include as an example--it's just so you can see what they're talking about.) I'd also be super cautious about buying on ebay from a non-approved vendor.
