View Full Version : i need to buy two basic step stools.

i need one for the kitchen and one for the bath. i bought one last yr. at a gargage sale it is the two step type and it is just to big & heavy for every day use. any suggestions?

not sure how high you're thinking, but we love the bjorn one for the bathroom. We have a wooden name stool in the bedroom. Actually, we only have one name one, but 3 DC. Wonder when they're going to realize this and ask my brother to get another one.

I've gotten a few basic plastic ones from Target over the years. Both white, one is rectangle (Target's "home" brand, do they still have that?) and one is oval (Sterilite brand). Patterned no-slip type top, about 10in high. DDs and I use them all the time!

The small one is a great size for the bathroom.

I got a single-step white wood stool at Target about a year ago. I don't know if they still have any like that. It was in the children's section, with all the other organizational stuff, including the stools with two steps.

We have 2 from Ikea that I LOVE because they are tall. I need to pick up another, since we just finished our basement bathroom and the kids stole mine from the kitchen for that bathroom. They are the Bolmen stool:

those look great, if only ikea was closer, it is a 3hr. drive .some day.
