I am going crazy planning DS's first birthday party. Looking at blogs is making me nutso. I think I *must* have paper straws in a mason jar, but I cannot pay the going rate for them (with shipping - without shipping I could deal). Amazon has them listed at a great price, but that brand is out of stock there and everywhere else it seems. Anyone have a source for these that would be less than $10 for 50 shipped?

they don't have to be this brand, and they don't have to be red. The theme is "Very Hungry Caterpillar" so any bright color would work.

eBay, they're a tiny bit more than you wanted to spend.

Thank you for the suggestions! I wish I was near Sur La Table because those would be perfect at a great price, but I think the gas cost to get there would wipe out any savings. I just ordered the ones from ebay. I must stop looking at blogs and getting more ideas for things I must have for my "low-key" backyard birthday party!

Try etsy.com, that is where I bought mine. Probably not as good as a deal as amazon but there are a lot to choose from!

Didn't check the price but Williams Sonoma carries red and white ones in the store.
