Does anyone have any experience with this travel highchair (or any others)?

We'll be travelling for 2 weeks at Christmas with our 16 month old and I'm not sure there will always be a highchair available. Do you think this will work for her or will she be too big for it?

No experience with that one but we have this: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?sku=16700762&utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=shopping

It is great because it folds down and is very easy to clean. DD is a very large almost 16 mo and still fits in it.

We have the Phil and Ted's Me Too chair and like it a lot. We have found very few tables where it didn't work with. The main tables we found it not to work with are the cheap patio tables, because they don't have any weight to them and the table can flip. We used it a couple of weeks ago with ds2 (2.5 years) when we were camping.

Seriously, go with this:

http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/179-0354222-0425648?asin=B001GQ2RWQ&AFID=msncashback_df&LNM=|B001GQ2RWQ&CPNG=baby&ci_src=18492716&ci_sku=B001GQ2RWQ&ref=tgt_adv_XSB10001

It will work anywhere....even just sitting on the floor if no chair is available. Best highchair for home or travel, and it folds down and has a carrying strap. It's all we use. And you can literally hose it off if you need to.

I'm in the market for a travel high chair/booster, too. We have the healthy care booster, but it's way too big for us to fly with. I can't use the one the OP mentioned because DS wouldn't be able to reach the table. Does anyone have any experience with fabric seats like these?:

we have this one:

and love it. It folds up completely flat, it's not too heavy and the cover is machine washable. DD1 has been using it since she is 17 months old and can still sit it in at 2.5 yo. It works on pretty much any kind of tables (have yet to encounter a table where it doesn't fit) and we've used it in restaurant, at friends, while traveling, etc. I seriously think it's the best travel high chair you can get. Plus DD loves the hippos!
we got ours off CL for about half retail.

I have used a fabric seat - and honestly it worked for us! It's called the totseat and i got it from amazon YEARS ago....

looks like they still have it! It was just what i needed to NOT have to hold a child on my lap the whole time... and at least have a free hand to feed them too. I can also remember using it at outside picnics on metal patio furniture even. Yes they sit lower and it's not foolproof - but just enough for what we needed to NOT have to hold a baby the whole time.

I loved the idea of the fabric ones - i would never travel/carry in a plastic booster - just wouldn't work for us. And i tried the first years folding/blow up one - and didnt work for 5 minutes.

WE do also have the chicco travel highchair and use that alot - - but if i were traveling to europe, etc... there is no way i want to lug that one either.... when the fabric one is small and VERY lightweight.

For $20 - i would DEFINIATELY give the one your looking at a try!!!

Thanks for all of the advice. We're hoping to travel as light as possible, so the Healthy Care Booster won't work. I think I'll take DD to the local baby store and see if I can try a couple out.

Just wanted to add, we took the Phil and Ted's one with us when DS1 was 7 mos and we went to Europe. DH was working, so I carried that in a skip hop bag and DS in a Becco for miles around London. We also washed it on the top rack of the dishwasher. I looked at the Chicco one that a pp mentioned, but something about the clamp made me not get it...for some reason I didn't think it would work on as many tables...but pp didn't have any problems so maybe that wasn't an issue.

I have the First Years one. I used it w/dd1 until one day she flipped the chair she was sitting in in it slamming her head onto the tile floor. B/C it was TIGHTLY attached to teh chair we had a hard time getting her out - never thought to upright the chair first we were so panicked. So if you have a leaner, be careful on what kind of chair you attach it to or better yet, skip it.

We still have it, but I never used it w/dd2 b/c she's a huge leaner. Has been able to rock back her tt already

That's so scary! Maybe I'll try a clip-on one, even though I'm afraid of those too.

I am interested in getting one of these too, two big trips coming Xmass and DS birthday bash. I was going to get the fisher price booster, although it seems bigger and harder to carry because I heard some restaurants don't let you hook the ones that go in the table for liability issues, anyone knows about this?
