I have to say Phase 1 is easy. And unlike the times I have done WW, I am not hungry, I do not think about food and I feel satisfied. But I don't understand Phase 2 (yes, I have the book).

I have been doing low carb plus cake for awhile now, but I was eating a ton of fruit. I am afraid if I start eating fruit again the minimal weight I have lost will be right back.

Only eat low-sugar fruits (berries, plums, peaches, apricots) and stay away from the high-sugar fruits (bananas, watermelon, mango, pineapple, dried fruit). And just bring back one serving of fruit a day in the beginning. Maybe you can eat 1-2 servings of fruit a day and not gain weight, but perhaps 3 or more servings is too much. Also, lots a time a serving is only about a 1/2 cup of fruit.

I'm only eating 3/4 c of strawberries a day so far.

I had a hard time deciphering stage 2 also. But taking a suggestion from nfowife, I'm doing one grain and one fruit a day.
